Engelke Farm is located on 135 acres in the countryside of Troy, NY bordering the town of Brunswick.  The farm has been in operation since 2003, and under new management since 2011.  Our establishment is a year-round family friendly local source for high quality food and ornamental crops. Being a small family owned and operated business, we utilize roughly 30 acres for crop production.  We start all of our own vegetable plants by local seed in our greenhouses.  Once in the field, we personally pick and inspect all crops daily. This enables us to spray our plants only on very rare, necessary occasion. It is important for us to provide a quality product and agricultural education for the farm market community and our customers.

We offer raspberries, strawberries, and all seasonal vegetables. We bring as many specialty items to the table as we possibly can. Always providing the seasons newest, best and most unique plants to consumer. At Engelke Farm, our fields are always open to the public for pick-your-own. Most of our nursery selections, including hanging baskets, perennials, annuals, 6 pack starter plants, and floor pots are created with "Proven Winners" brand plugs. Our hanging baskets are our specialty, the size and quality are unbelievable. In the fall we offer lots of fun with hayrides, pumpkin patches, a corn maze, zip lines, mums, cold weather crop produce, and fall decorative.
